I’m a bit sad for Firefox. It used to be the fast, powerful, progressive browser that finally broke IE’s era of stagnant dominance and saved web developers’ sanity. Now, it’s a bloated, slow, unstable monster that’s often a pain in this web developer’s ass.
Marco Arment. I’d be a bit sad too, if that were actually true any more. Firefox 3.6 was a big wobbly monster, but these days it’s fast, stable and uses fewer resources than Chrome (in my experience).
Alas, Firebug slow it right down and makes it leak like a sieve. They’re working on the leaks, thankfully. It’s a pity really, because (for me, at least) it blows the IE and Chrome developer tools into the weeds.
